Private, in-home puppy training lessons teach you how to establish genuine 2-way communication with your puppy. Topics include puppy housebreaking, nipping, biting, destructive chewing and other puppy behavior problems. We also focus on proper socialization with people and other dogs and prevention of aggression. You'll learn the secrets of how to build a strong bond  with your puppy through good pack structure. Your puppy will learn all basic obedience commands (sit, stay, down, come, drop it) plus good leash manners.

Dog Training - Advanced Dog Obedience

Once your dog graduates from our basic obedience program, we can train advanced obedience skills as shown in the video on our home page. Things like: heel perfectly and sit automatically on or off the leash. Recognize and respond instantly to hand signals or verbal comamnds under any distraction, long distance stay and come,  drop on recall, AKC CGC preparation and more. Advanced dog obedience training helps transform your dog into an exceptionally loyal companion – and maybe just a bit of a show-off too!

Dog Boarding and Training

If a hectic environment or a very busy schedule makes in-home training impractical, or if you just want to “quick start” your dog’s training, consider enrolling your dog into our 10 Day Board and Train Program. Your dog will learn all of the basic dog obedience commands (sit, down, stay, come, drop-it) plus good leash manners (NO pulling!).   There’s one very important advantage in choosing our board and train program over others - in our program the dog is NEVER kenneled. He lives in the trainer's home, 24/7. All exercise, play and training is done under the trainer’s direct supervision. The trainer is able to observe, train and interact with your dog in a real home environment, so all of the real issues your dog encounters in daily family life can be addressed.  Board and Train includes a 2-hour "train the owner" session when you pick up your "new" dog, and it comes with our Lifetime Guarantee.
