Amalia has always loved dogs, so her family was not surprised when she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dog trainer. She studied under master trainer and shelter behavior expert Amanda Striker, helping to rehabilitate homeless dogs at one of the nation’s busiest open admission/no-kill animal shelters.
After completing her internship at Canine Dimensions and graduating with high distinction, Amalia was admitted as a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and is now the Regional Training Director at Canine Dimensions of Clark County, NV. Her reputation for training and rehabilitating so-called “difficult” dogs, including those with household behavior problems and fear issues, have earned Amalia special recognition among her peers, and a well-deserved reputation as someone who will never give up on a dog.
Canine Dimensions offers In-home Dog Training and Puppy Training in Las Vegas, Nevada.
